(Hamilton, OH) After 18 years on Van Hook Avenue, the Pease Warehouse and Kitchen Showroom will move to a new location on Rt. 4 in the Hamilton Crossing Shopping Center in the former Kmart store. After some interior remodeling, including the installation of one of the Tri-State’s largest kitchen showrooms, the move to this new location is expected to be complete sometime in late July, with a Grand Opening to follow shortly.
“Moving to this new location is just another example how Pease has evolved over the past century to better serve our customers with many national brands of cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, trim and other home remodeling products,” said Steve Pease, President. “We had two criteria when scouting new store locations, we wanted to stay in Hamilton, where we have a long tradition since the 1940s serving customers in the Southwest Ohio region; and we wanted a more convenient, easy to find location that would provide greater efficiencies in lower utility costs and better space utilization so we can pass on those savings to reward our loyal Pease customers with the best values every day. We found a great deal on retail space that would provide a more pleasant shopping experience while keeping our overhead low so we can continue to offer warehouse pricing.”
“We’re excited about the move,” added John Pease, Vice President. “This new location allows in the Hamilton Crossings shopping center has great visibility allowing our customers to find us easier and it will give them a more enjoyable shopping experience in a fully heated and air conditioned building. Plus, this new space has 90,000 square feet under roof, allowing us to arrange our products more efficiently in well-lighted displays so our customers can find what their looking for more quickly.”
New Pease signs on the exterior of the building and at the entrance off of Rt. 4 are expected to be erected in the next two weeks. Inventory reduction sales are ongoing at the current Van Hook location and will continue until the move to Rt. 4 is completed in August 2012.
