The original “Pease Company” started in 1893 in a store building on Water Street in downtown Cincinnati. That company sold doors and window sashes to retail lumber yards that were within “horse and buggy” distance of Cincinnati. In 1898, Pease issued its first catalog, which consisted largely of stock sashes and doors as well as wood grilles, ornaments, cabinet mantels and inside blinds. Today Pease is now owned by Nisbet Brower, a family owned and operated company, which has been in the building material industry since 1870. Nisbet Brower continues to focus on better ways to make buying building materials easier with a qualified team of professionals dedicated to helping them successfully run their business each and everyday.
